I made a video interpretation of Jean Anouilh’s Antigone for my last French class in college.  As the background for all the drawings, I used a proof of an intaglio texture plate that I made for a totally different project.  I scanned the images as I drew and added text, and then compiled all the images.

I also feel I should note the spelling mistake.  In the video, I wrote “Elle sait qu’elle mourira” (she knows she will die).  I mean “mourra” instead of “mourira”, but I forgot to spell check.  Unfortunately it’s not exactly one of those things you can go back and fix easily.  Oh well.
